KEYPOINTS:
All non-zero digits are significant.
All zero (zeros) between non-zero digits is (are) significant. e.g. 205 (3 sf), 2.05 (3 sf)
In whole numbers, zeros after the last non-zero digit are not significant. e.g. 500 (1 sf), 1300 (2 sf)
In decimals, zeros before the first non-zero digit are not significant. e.g. 0.059 (2 sf)
In decimals, zeros after the last non-zero digits are significant. e.g. 2.30 (3 sf)
