Translation (T): Movement of all points in a plane through the same distance in the same direction
Reflection (M): Reflecting all points of a plane in a mirror line
Rotation (R): Rotating all points on a plane about a fixed point known as centre of rotation, through a given angle in clockwise or anti–clockwise direction
Enlargement (E): Enlarging the given figure by k times the original size with centre O, where k is the scale factor. If k > 0, the given figure and its image are on the same side of the centre O. If k < 0, the given figure and its image are on the opposite side of the centre O. Area of image = k2 x Area of figure
